Go-To Summer Outfit Formula

Summer in Austin is hot, as in days-over-100-plus-humidity hot. Let's be honest, the last thing a person feels like doing in that weather is getting dressed. My go to when it's that hot is a loose dress, and minimal accessories.

I love this dress from Aritzia that I got in Canada last year. It's light, oversized, and soft, but while it feels like wearing pajamas, with the right accessories, it can be quite chic. For this casual work outfit I paired it with my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB, and these cute Anne Klein flats I got at DSW. Although not particularly visible in this picture, for jewelry, I kept it simple with a couple of rings.
