About

Cheap Fit & Chic was created by Andie and Tiff, both new to Austin, on a budget and looking for new places to eat. In addition to the delicious food, they both enjoy the active and creative approaches to life in Austin.

Tiffany’s passion for fitness started in 2012 when she bought a belly dance DVD that used Viniyoga to warm up for belly dancing. While she loved dance, she was beginning to show more interest in Yoga. That summer, she worked as a Karmi Yoga in NYC’s OmFactory and further explored the world of Yoga. She began exploring different ways of exercising including Pilates, pole dance, weight lifting, running, etc. In 2015 she received her yoga teacher certificate in Austin, TX. While initially fitness and exercise was a way to lose weight, it became a space of exploration and she slowly found it as a way for expression.

Andie's love of food is rivaled by her love of clothes. Her parents still tell the story of the baby who couldn't hold her head up, but had to be carried to the closet to pick out which frilly dress she wanted to wear. That love of picking out new items, or combining existing items stuck, and she still enjoys taking time everyday to plan her outfit. Her style is mostly focused on basics and is influenced by the places she's lived. Whether its comfortable styles from her home-country Canada, polished looks from England, or a casual-cute styles from Korea, she loves taking that inspiration and making it her own. For her, more than trends, fashion should be about an ever-evolving personal style.
